Conversion Chain Builder
Build a chain of conversion tiles so the units cancel and only the unit you want is left.
How to use
- Read the problem. You start with a number and a unit, and you want a target unit.
- Tap tiles to add them to your chain. Each tile is a fraction that equals 1. Use Flip to turn a tile upside down.
- A unit on top cancels the same unit on the bottom. When the units left match the target, press Calculate.
- Type the answer with the right sig figs. Exact tiles, like 1 km = 1,000 m, do not limit sig figs. The measured number does.
