Which trial was slowest? Why?

Cube, cold, no stir. It had the least surface area, the slowest particles and no mixing.

Which change helped the most?

Answers vary: crushing or heating.

Does heating change how fast or how much (or both)?

Both. It speeds up dissolving, and more solid can dissolve.
